This incredibly rare Porsche Carrera GT had been left rotting in an abandoned car dealership in China.

One such car was this GT, which had spent a long time collecting dust in a deserted Chinese dealership.
Despite being in poor shape, this car could still fetch a ton of money if it were put on sale.

We’ve seen a lot of abandoned dealerships over the years that have had hidden gems tucked away inside of them.
Sure, the settings themselves may have been a little eerie at times.
But you can’t deny that these were great finds.
Over in France, someone stumbled upon this former Saab dealership, which was still packed with old cars.
A fellow urban explorer visited this abandoned Peugeot dealership that’s home to dozens of classic cars.
Elsewhere in Japan, explorers found a dealership that time forgot.
So, there are a lot of disused dealerships out there that still have cars sitting inside.
For YouTuber effspot, a Chinese site would be the place he’d explore.
He estimated that this location had been left deserted for more than 10 years.
Inside the building were a Porsche Carrera GT, a Ferrari 575, and a Corvette Z06.
The YouTuber didn’t get up close and personal with the cars to ascertain what sort of state they’re in.
But looking in from the outside, they look pretty good.
The ceiling is something of a cause for concern, though, as parts of it look like they’re close to caving in.
Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen, as we wouldn’t want to see anything happen to these cars, least of all the Carrera.
Produced between 2003 and 2006, only 1,270 of these Porsches were ever made.
In the years since, they’ve attracted much critical acclaim.
Sports Car International named it the best sports car of the decade, while it landed the number eight spot in the magazine’s best sports cars of all time list.
Meanwhile, Popular Science magazine gave it the ‘Best of What’s New’ award in its first year.
