Chinese EV that looks like a Ferrari launches and it’s dirt cheap with great range

This Chinese EV that looks like a Ferrari has recently launched and it’s dirt cheap with great range – it totally puts Western EVs to shame.

Who doesn’t want an car that looks like a Ferrari for all intents and purposes, but has better tech and costs less than a supercar?

The YU7 is undeniably similar to the Ferrari Purosangue and although it’s called an SUV, it certainly doesn’t look like one.

The YU7 is the best way to get an EV that looks like a supercar and it brings modern tech to people who may not get to experience a classic Ferrari.

This Chinese EV is a Ferrari by any other name

Tech company turned automaker Xiaomi has released its highly anticipated YU7 EV and it looks good and drives very well.

Despite being called an SUV, it has a eerily similar look and aesthetic to a different kind of supercar, the Ferrari Purosangue.

Xiaomi’s tagline is ‘make innovative technology accessible to everyone’ and it seems like it really delivers with the new YU7.

Clearly inspired by another, more expensive Western EV in the Tesla Model Y, the YU7 weighs a bit more than the Tesla due to its larger battery pack, but as it is far less expensive that the Musk creation, a slightly larger and heavier battery is ok.

It’s dirt cheap and has great range

The new car is known for being efficient, but it is also nicely set up for city driving.

So even if you do run out of charge, it can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 21 minutes for the standard version and just 12 minutes with the Max version.

It can reach a top speed of over 155 mph and as expected from the tech giant, the electric car has amazing in-car technology.

The interior looks very comfortable and there’s even the option of having an optional mini fridge under the center-console.

It looks fun, drives great and only costs around $35,000, a best of all worlds scenario for supercar lovers without the supercar budget – Xiaomi you’ve done it again!
