And they could not believe the savings on their gas bill.

One Tesla Model S owner has shared her savings from owning a Model S.
Taking to social media, the owner created a post that has started going viral.
On Reddit, the owner said: “10 months into owning a Tesla Model S and we’re saving cash.”
The upload shows that the user is not even exaggerating – having saved $1,887 in 10 months.
Traditional gas would have cost the owner $4,705 in the same period of time.
One person replied in shock: “[Wow!] you’ve driven a lot in 10 months. I’ve had my Model S for about 10 months as well and my gas equivalent charge is only around $1200 lmao with $1000 in savings.”
Another person shared in the delight, saying: “People who diss Tesla are completely oblivious to the incredible cost savings. Most don’t even care to know. It’s an incredible phenomenon.”
Despite the negativity as of late, Tesla appears to still be going strong.
Owners remain delighted at the savings they are making from the switch.
Drivers are remaining loyal to the brand
Tesla has had to endure a lot of turmoil in the first half of 2025.
Controversy surrounding CEO Elon Musk has engulfed the EV brand.
