Lewis Hamilton has just had his ultimate dreams dashed by Ferrari, as the fabled manufacturer has issued a damning conundrum for the stick-shift supercars.
When Lewis Hamilton posed in front of an elite Ferrari supercar lineup, he asked his new employers for one thing.
But after just a few months, his dreams have been dashed.
Ferrari is not going to produce his dream car.

Ferrari closes the door on stick-shift supercars
Ferrari has created some wild supercars as of late.
Sir Lewis Hamilton was even left impressed by the fastest road car that he’s ever driven. His F80 test run also left passenger Charles Leclerc absolutely shellshocked.
But the brand hasn’t made stick-shift supercars for over a decade. And, for the moment, it looks like it’ll be staying that way.
Chief marketing and commercial officer, Enrico Galliera, has shut down rumors we might be getting a stick-shift Ferrari again.
“You missed it! The manual gearbox, we already have it, in many of our classic cars – you can go and drive our fantastic manual gearboxes at our fantastic events for our classic cars,” he told Evo Magazine.
“Whoever wants to have this kind of classic experience, they can buy and restore our fantastic classics and come to our events. We have it, we push our clients to discover the beauty of driving a classic car.”
Lewis Hamilton’s dream car has been shut down
Hamilton hasn’t enjoyed the best start to life at Ferrari, having yet to step on the podium in Rosso red.
But while the woes appear to be over, and he eyes a 13th consecutive podium at the UK’s Silverstone, his off-track supercar dreams have been squandered with his stick-shift supercars conundrum.
When he first joined Ferrari, the legacy driver revealed that he wanted to create a one-off F44. It was hypothesized as a F40 remake, complete with a manual gearbox.
“Baseline of an F40, with the actual stick shift. That’s what I’m gonna work on for the next few years,” he said during a recent interview.
But that dream appears to be rubble and dust now.
Instead, he will have to revert his attention back to the track, which won’t be hard with his home race, Silverstone, on the horizon.
The F1 car has undergone some significant improvements as of late, and the Scuderia is finally in a decent position to give Lewis a crack at the podium.
