When he turned 18, Justin Bieber was gifted a forgotten $100,000 electric vehicle.
What do you get a big pop-star when he hits the big 1-8? A Fisker Karma apparently.
The singer received the gift whilst appearing as a guest on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show.
This was a big deal when it happened back in 2012, but the car has all but been forgotten 13 years later.

Remember the time Justin Bieber got an electric vehicle for his 18th birthday?
Let us set the scene.
The year is 2012 – Gangnam Style is about to take over the world, Barack Obama is still the President, and Corona is just a name for a beer.
It was this year that Justin Bieber turned 18 and became a full adult.
And with adulthood comes cars!
For Bieber, his big birthday came with a very memorable surprise, which happened as he was being interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres.
While sitting on her stage, his manager Scooter Braun came out.
“I always yell at you: ‘Don’t get any flashy, we’re not about that, be humble’,” Braun admitted.
“I kind of broke my own rule.
“We wanted to make sure you were environmentally friendly, and since you love cars, that when you’re on the road, you’re always looking environmentally friendly.
“This is a very hard-to-get car – that’s a Fisker Karma!”
In true TV style, the electric vehicle was revealed – and Bieber was stunned.
It felt like an Oprah moment, except with far fewer screaming audience members.
Fisker Karmas were a big deal back in 2011, when EVs weren’t quite as common as they are now.
Unfortunately, production was suspended in November 2012 when the battery supplier filed for bankruptcy.
Fisker Automotive would end up filing for bankruptcy itself a year later.
The Biebs has been loving his cars ever since
13 years on and Bieber is still into his cars.
Leaving aside the fact that he once forgot where he’d parked his $260k Ferrari for three weeks.
He’s also had a customized Rolls-Royce and a Bugatti Veyron.
And how about his Fisker Karma?
After six months of ownership, it was reportedly regifted to a friend, according to Torque News.
Apparently, Bieber was planning on getting a newer model when it was released.
With Fisker Automotive closing shortly afterwards, this never came to be.
