There’s nothing better than a classic car, apart from maybe acres and acres of classic cars as far as the eye can see.

This Idaho-based classic car seller, L&L Classic Auto, has the US’s biggest junkyard full of as many American classic cars as we have ever seen.

Popular car YouTuber David Freiburger got the chance to visit the junkyard. He picked out some of his favorites, pointing them out for his subscribers and explaining how to look after them properly.

He began by picking out a customized 1964 Chevy Impala with homemade lace paint, which is an old-school painting technique using lace doilies.

David then pointed out a frankly culturally iconic station wagon: A 1968 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, which he compared to a Buick Sport Wagon.

He then shows off two different types of Chevy Impala Fastbacks sitting among the abandoned cars, one from 1967 and one from the year after. But he liked the 1967 interior more than the 1968 one.

David gave his subscribers tips on identifying an AMC V8 engine using a stylish burnt orange 1972 AMC Matador.

Among the abandoned cars, another AMC came in the form of a Marlin, which David described as a stylistic precursor to the classic All-American Dodge Charger.

The YouTuber has a fondness for the hand-painted vintage dealership badges on old trucks. He thinks that the door art tells a story about the history of the vans.

Davis discovers a Boattail Buick Riviera and admires the Speedster rear design, as well as two-door and four-door Cherokee Wagoneers.

Finally, he also points out some iconic vehicles – a Checker Aerobus and a 1956 Packard Wagon. This was a true Idaho junkyard full of classic, vintage Americana.
