Man left with one question after picking up Dodge Challenger everyone passed on for $15,000

An American man bought a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack muscle car sight unseen, and couldn’t understand why everyone passed on it for $15,000.

YouTuber and muscle car fan Randy Shear from The Car Addict spotted the Dodge at a dealership, listed with a few repairs needed due to ‘moderate damage.’

Shear loves to rebuild a car, so it was right up his street when he spotted it up for sale.

However, despite the damage, the car was only $15,000, and Shear couldn’t quite understand why no one else had bought the Challenger.

According to its listing, the dealership had repaired all of the crash damage on the Dodge.

This included a replacement cross member and a few other front-end components.

Having seen it for sale, Shear very quickly bought it without looking at the car and had it delivered to his driveway.

Shear also found that the dealership had given the Challenger a full transmission service.

The muscle car had even received an oil change plus a coolant flush.

Walking around and inspecting the car further, the YouTuber realizes there is nothing wrong with the Dodge.

Any crash damage it had has been repaired by the dealership.

They then gave the car a full service, meaning it’s ready to go once delivered to a new owner.

That is why Shear was so confused as to why nobody wanted the muscle car for such a low price.

Under the hood, Shear could tell that the previous owner had modified the muscle car.

However, nothing looked amiss or out of place, and the engine bay is immaculate.

The YouTuber took it out for a spin, and there were no warning lights or odd noises as he drove around.

It turned out this muscle car is perfect, and a custom exhaust also enhanced the sound of the car.

Under the hood, the Scat Pack had a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine, from stock, that produced 485HP.

Perhaps the extra modifications also scared away potential buyers from this American icon.

But despite that, to snag a nearly perfect Dodge Challenger for just $15,000 is truly remarkable. The post Man left with one question after picking up Dodge Challenger everyone passed on for $15,000 appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
