The new Mercedes-Benz CLA EV sedan is so advanced that it can recognize our emotions and react to them with industry-first technology.
The latest CLA is one of Mercedes’s most modern vehicles, with the third generation of the car introduced in March.
This marked 12 years since the first-generation CLA first hit the market, and the German manufacturer has been very keen to market the car’s ‘intelligence’.
While it boasts plenty of impressive features, it is arguably the emotional-reading technology that is the most outlandish to grace the new CLA.

How does the emotion-reading technology on the Mercedes-Benz CLA work?
The feature is part of the EV’s MBUX Virtual Assistant.
This also incorporates other features such as ChatGPT-4o and the Automotive AI Agent.
Incredibly, this tech can recognize emotions from the driver using just the sound and tone of the user’s voice.
It then reacts accordingly, and it can change color to reflect the mood it feels is relevant.
If the color is blue, then it is in default mode.
But if it feels the user is happy, it will go green, and then it will change to orange or red for anger or sadness.
All of this is incorporated into the car thanks to the Cerence AI technology.
Not only that, but the system can recognize and communicate in 25 different languages.
This is a very impressive electric sedan
Other features include Google Gemini, allowing you to have in-car conversations via Google Maps.
The CLA can then answer navigation-related questions that the driver may have.
Aside from the ability to read our emotions, the Mercedes-Benz CLA is a very impressive electric sedan.
The EV has an 800-volt architecture, with an 85kW lithium-ion battery.
If you buy the entry-level CLA 250, you will get 268hp and enough range for 492 miles.
Those that opt for the CLA 350 4MATIC will get 349hp, and slightly less range at 479 miles.
Plus, the latest edition of the car is also very good-looking with a super clean design.
We don’t think it will be long, though, before we see many people try and see if the car can indeed read our emotions. The post New Mercedes-Benz CLA can recognize your emotions and react to them with industry-first technology appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
