Only five of the Pagani Zonda Revolución were ever made – but its not rarity that makes it worth $2.8m.

Pagani can count famous faces including The Rock and Lionel Messi amongst its fans.

The Pagani Zonda Revolución pays homage to the on-road Pagani Zonda – one of the most beloved supercars of all time.

Before its production ended, Pagani CEO, Horacio Pagani, celebrated its success with an ultra-hardcore model.

Pagani Zonda Revolución was designed to pay homage to its predecessor – but it had some major differences.

For starters the Pagani Zonda Revolución is built for the track – a far cry from its road-going inspiration.

From the outside the Pagani Zonda Revolución is simultaneously stunning, sturdy and safe.

Pagani’s carbo-titanium mix was used to make the chassis, which helps drop the claimed dry weight to just 2359 lbs.

Upgrades to further its on-track prowess include a carbon fiber intake, F1-style Inconel exhaust, and a race-grade multi-disc clutch pack.

None are included in the standard Zonda.

Under the hood is a heavily modified variant of the 6.0-liter Mercedes M120 V-12 used in the CLK GTR race car.

Its total power is rated at 789 hp and it packs 538 lb-ft of torque.

This extreme power is fed through a six-speed Xtrac sequential manual gearbox.

It boasts a gearbox with shorter ratios that the standard Zonda R and reworked aerodynamics.

All that gets this hypercar from 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in just 2.7 seconds.

It’s then able to reach an estimated top speed of 375 km/h (233 mph).

Its might is controlled via a 12-stage Bosch traction control system and new and improved Brembo brakes.

And all of these changes don’t come cheap with a brand new Porsche 911 costing the same as replacing Pagani Huayra bolts.

What’s more, the cost of an annual Pagani service is eye watering.

Step inside its busy cabin and you’ll notice it’s highly function-oriented.

Every button, knob and feature has a specific purpose to give you the best driving experience possible. The post Only 5 of these hyper rare $2.8m Pagani Zonda Revolución cars were ever made appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
