Finding twin Mach 1 Mustangs in a Michigan junkyard
Auto Archaeology walked through the junkyard, showing various classic cars: a Studebaker, a big block 396 Caprice, and Mustangs.
A closer look at the Caprice revealed a red interior with bucket seats.
“It really isn’t that bad, the door’s caved in, the vinyl top is shot,” Auto Archaeology admitted.
“But the interior’s all there.”
Every cloud has its silver lining.
At any rate, it was in better shape than the twin 1969 Mach 1 Mustangs, both of which were in poor condition.
One had even been crushed and buried beneath the other.
“How often do you see twin 1969 Mustangs under each other in a junkyard in the modern day?” the YouTuber asked.
That’s certainly a rarity.
He lamented that it was ‘terrible’ they looked like this.
As he took a closer look at the interior, he saw what was essentially a pile-up of parts, which he described as a ‘cluster’.
It’s certainly a cluster something.
Junkyards can be a treasure trove for car lovers
There are junkyards all across the US, and they all have cars of all shapes and sizes.
Unfortunately, those cars come in all sorts of conditions, too.
In fact, this junkyard of abandoned project cars was downright sad.
And 100 rotting cars are no picnic either.
Auto Archaeology himself has seen his fair share of junkyards, whether they be in Wisconsin or Missouri.
