A tech enthusiast tried out the Telo MT1 mini truck and was left seriously impressed by the upcoming EV – and it’s not hard to see why.
Mini trucks aren’t a new concept in countries like China and Japan, but they’ve yet to build a fanbase in the US.
That, though, could all be set to change thanks to the dinky Telo mini all-electric truck that punches well above its weight.
YouTuber JerryRigEverything recently got behind the wheel of a Telo MT1 and was quick to heap praise on the EV.

The Telo MT1 mini truck is surprisingly roomy
Although the Telo MT1 is described as a ‘mini’ truck, the EV is probably a lot more spacious than you’d think.
The five-seater truck has a five-foot bed, but manages to cram it all into the same space as a two-door Mini Cooper. Impressive stuff, right?
Tech enthusiast JerryRigEverything was certainly left impressed when he took one out for a spin recently.
“The bed is actually larger than a Rivian, and not only is the bed size bigger, but the midgate drops down, expanding to eight feet,” he explained in a video shared on his YouTube channel.
He was also equally as pleased with the fact that most of the Telo’s parts are off the shelf. Which means it’s a lot easier to find replacements, should you ever need them.
The truck is also more powerful than you might have thought, too; the bed payload is 1,700LBS (770kg), and its tow capacity is 6,600 LBS (2,993kg).
It’s available with either two battery pack options – one of which offers 260 miles of range and another with 350 miles.
It’s also more powerful than you might think
The Telo MT1 is also more powerful than you might have guessed. Despite its diminutive size, the mini truck can do 0-60MPH (96KMH) in just about 4 seconds, and produces up to 500HP.
It’s also cheap. Telo has confirmed the MT1’s starting price of $41,500, and it’ll be available to reserve with a $152 refundable deposit.
Summing up his feelings about the truck, the YouTuber branded it ‘super cool’ and said he was a ‘huge fan’ of seeing such vehicles come to the US.
And he’s not the only person who has praised the Telo MT1 in recent weeks.
In fact, Nathan Adlen from Fast Lane Truck, branded the EV ‘perfect’. While another car lover said it was time to ‘forget the Cybetruck’ in favor of the mini truck.
If all goes to plan, the Telo MT1 should be heading to US roads in 2026. The post Tech expert impressed by the ‘super cool’ Telo mini EV truck that packs more power than you’d think appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
