After a successful launch in China, Tesla’s Cyberquad is finally available in Europe as well.

This is good news for European buyers, especially when you consider the ‘cyber vehicle’ everyone truly wants – the Cybertruck – is unlikely to be available in the Old Continent anytime soon.

Tesla originally wanted to sell a full-size Cyberquad alongside the Cybertruck.

However, due to production and legal reasons, Tesla decided it would make more sense to build a miniature version for kids.

The Cyberquad you see here weighs 150 lbs (68 kg), and is powered by a small electric engine, which gives it a top speed of just 16 km/h (10 mph).

It went on sale in the USA last year and all 5,000 units sold out literally within minutes.

It came in with 15 miles of a range (24 km) and a $1,900 price tag, which could also be paid in Dogecoin

The Cyberquad’s success was short-lived because the four-wheeler was ultimately pulled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall was called after a 36-year-old woman hurt herself after falling off the kids’ bike.

According to reports, she was riding the quad with an eight-year-old child when it tipped.

This was enough to initiate a full investigation into the safety of the product, and the U.S. Commission ruled it didn’t meet safety standards and Tesla had to pull the plug.

None of that mattered to buyers in China, though, who flocked to buy the Cyberquad.
