The new 2025 Tesla Model Y Juniper is the electric car that pushes the limits of what a practical EV can do.
The Model Y Juniper is the brand new refresh of the popular Tesla, and many felt that the electric car was long overdue for an update.
While Tesla isn’t having the best of times at the moment, to put it mildly, the new Model Y does seem to have nailed a particular sweet spot.
It’s a practical electric vehicle, with plenty of performance, and it’s one of the best all-around packages that money can currently buy.

One of the standouts in the new Model Y is its performance, something that many Teslas share.
There are presently two drivetrains available with the Juniper.
These are the long-range rear-wheel drive model and the long-range all-wheel drive version.
The rear-wheel drive Model Y has 295HP from its single motor, whereas the all-wheel drive version has 425HP from its dual motors.
That is a sizable increase over the ‘standard’ version.
There’s a performance trim coming too, although it’s not yet on the market.
For those who suffer from range anxiety, the Tesla Model Y Juniper should eliminate some of those worries.
If you opt for the rear-wheel drive model, you will have 337 miles of range.
The extra performance of the all-wheel drive version does drop the range a bit, but only to 311 miles.
Inside, there are still one or two things that might be polarizing.
The lack of a proper dashboard for the driver, for example, is one of them.
But the amount of space available is impressive.
Front passengers get 41 inches of headroom, with 34.6 at the rear.
When it comes to legroom, those in the front get 41.8 inches, and in the back, it’s a reasonable 26.5.
Remember, too, the Model Y Juniper is a three-row EV, giving it even more passenger seating.
Tesla has also made an effort to make the new EV a little more competitively priced.
The range currently starts at $44,990, rising to $48,990 for the all-wheel drive version.
The new Model Y Juniper is a very impressive EV and shows Tesla can still produce an excellent electric car.The post Tesla’s 2025 Model Y Juniper update pushes the limits of what a practical EV can do appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
