Volkswagen has produced a varied fleet of cars.

From daily drivers to swanky EVs, it truly has an option for everyone.

For instance, the new Volkswagen EV recently completed an almost impossible task and outsold Tesla.

In previous months, the company also unveiled its impressive Emergency Assist tech – showing safety is a top priority.

But, for all the sensible creations, there is sure to be an out-of-the-box design that will turn heads.

Enter this Baja Bug remix by Twisted.

The car certainly has a unique exterior, and there was one principle behind the auto: looking cool.

“Taking the rebellious spirit of the original Baja Bug and filtering it through Twisted’s obsession with engineering excellence, we’ve built something raw, honest, and meant to be driven,” the company said.

The company starts with a ‘classic air-cooled Beetle from the ’60s to ’80s’ and each and every TBug is created from the chassis up with suspension and bodywork being added to produce this machine.

“The beauty of the TBug lies in its honest approach. We’ve doubled the power output – though we’re still happily under 80 horses – but this isn’t about raw numbers. It’s about attitude,” Twisted continued.

Every unique Baja Bug is converted into a ‘one-off’ TBug, and well, the exterior speaks for itself

Plus, get ready to have your heartstrings pulled, because according to the founder of Twisted, Charles Fawcett, the TBug is actually a symbol of his childhood.

His sister had a bedroom wall full of Baja Bug posters that ‘captured his imagination decades ago’.

Take a look at the TBug in action in the video at the top of the page and check out Twister here.

But also, don’t forget to check out some other interesting VW creations like this 1968 Volkswagen Beetle that was transformed into an impressive tank. The post This Baja Bug remix proves less power can still be a wild ride appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
