This iconic Mercedes-Benz Pagoda has been transformed into an EV for the 21st Century
An EV conversion bringing these classics back to life The post This iconic Mercedes-Benz Pagoda has been transformed into an EV for the 21st Century appeared first on Supercar Blondie.

The Mercedes-Benz Pagoda has been rebuilt by Everrati as an electric classic car that retains the look and feel of the original Mercedes-Benz SL.
Each build starts with a donor W113 chassis, restored to factory standards before being fitted with a high-output EV powertrain.
Two versions are available, with up to 200 miles of range and 300 bhp on tap.
The result is a vehicle that looks like a classic but drives like something made for today’s roads.

How Everrati converts the Mercedes-Benz Pagoda into an EV
Each Everrati Mercedes-Benz Pagoda begins as a structurally sound W113 SL, stripped and fully rebuilt before conversion begins.
Restoration work is handled by marque specialists, ensuring that all exterior and interior elements are finished to a high standard.
Customers can choose between a ‘Standard’ model with a 54.4 kWh battery and 160-mile range or a ‘Touring’ version with a 68 kWh battery offering over 200 miles.
Both variants use a single-speed drivetrain with a 300 bhp motor, allowing for sub-seven-second 0–60 mph times.
The electric system is installed with the aim of preserving the original car’s balance and weight distribution.
According to Everrati, this helps maintain the driving characteristics that defined the original Mercedes-Benz SL.
The process is also fully reversible, allowing owners to reinstall the original engine if needed.
In line with the current restomod trends, the Pagoda combines EV usability with period-accurate styling.
The analogue dials are updated to show EV data such as range and charge, but their appearance remains consistent with the original design.
The gear selector is still in its traditional location and now controls the drive modes.
Discreet updates like heated seats and Bluetooth integration are included for usability, though they are designed not to interrupt the vintage interior.
For many, this electric classic car offers a way to enjoy a historic vehicle without the reliability concerns of older combustion models.
Where this electric SL fits in Everrati’s growing lineup
The electric Mercedes-Benz Pagoda is one of several classic vehicles re-engineered by Everrati.
Other projects include the Porsche 911, Land Rover Series IIA, and the Superformance GT40.
Each follows the same philosophy: rebuild to original spec, then integrate electric power with minimal visible change.
Everrati operates from the UK and supplies clients across the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
Many customers already drive modern EVs and are looking for a classic that matches their current values.
The electric Mercedes-Benz SL conversion is priced from £330,000, excluding taxes and the donor vehicle.
For buyers, it offers a way to enjoy a historic design with none of the emissions and less long-term maintenance.
The Mercedes-Benz Pagoda remains one of the most recognisable roadsters ever built.
In its new electric form, it provides a quiet, usable update to a familiar shape, making classic motoring more practical for modern use.
