This is Toyota’s last Supra A90 and it’s not leaving quietly

Toyota is saying ‘goodbye’ to its GR Supra, but the iconic vehicle is going out with a bang thanks to this GR Supra A90 Final Edition.

Toyota introduced the Supra, known then as the Celica Supra, all the way back in 1978.

After a decades-long original production run, the Supra was retired in 2002.

However, in 2019, Toyota announced the launch of the fifth-generation GR Supra A90.

Now, the iconic car is gearing up for its production line swan song with this very special Final Edition model.

The original GR Supra A90, which was popularized in the Fast & Furious franchise, is already quite the beast.

But Toyota is pulling out all the stops for this Final Edition version, which includes enhancements to its engine, chassis, and aerodynamics.

The GR Supra’s BMW-sourced engine will be boosted from 335 horsepower to 429 horsepower and now boasts a top speed of 168mph (270km/h).

Toyota says the Final Edition features better handling than ever before, thanks to updates on its chassis and suspension as well as a better braking system.

On the outside, the GR Supra A90 Final Edition is finished in a striking matte-black and its also has some pretty big aerodynamic changes.

These include a Motorsport-inspired carbon-fiber front spoiler, front canards, and a front center flap, alongside a carbon-fiber swan-neck rear wing, all of which helps to optimize front and rear aerodynamic balance, downforce, and drag and make for a much smoother drive.

The car sits on 19-inch wheels on the front and 20-inch ones on the back axles, all of which are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Inside, you’ll find a drive-focused cockpit with bucket seats – red for the driver and black for the passenger – red seat belts, carbon fiber scuff plates, and a steering wheel with an Alcantara trim.

The car is reportedly set to cost a hefty $161,200.

Toyota is creating just 300 examples of the GR Supra A90 Final Edition, so it’s as exclusive as it is impressive.

Of the 300 made, 150 are set to be sold in Japan and the other half in Europe.

But fear not, US-based Supra lovers, as Toyota is also launching the cheaper, and slightly less powerful, 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition, which includes sending around 900 of the MkV model to North America.
