A Utah YouTuber has just bought what is supposedly the world’s cheapest new car.

The car in question is blue; it is electric; and it is absolutely tiny.

What’s more, he bought it from Alibaba.

The Utah-based YouTuber couldn’t stop laughing when he first saw it.

What makes the world’s cheapest new car?

The idea of owning the world’s cheapest new car isn’t exactly a new one.

From the ‘G-Whiz’ to the Peel P50 and everything in between, people have really pushed the boundaries.

Japan, for example, prides itself on its production of tiny, cheap vehicles known as kei cars or kei trucks.

These cars are designed for Japan’s cities, which feature tiny, narrow streets despite being enormous and busy.

Japanese Kei trucks are even starting to become popular in the United States, even though US streets are usually much wider.

The number of fun, small, cheap cars continues to rise all across the car world.

And it is one such car that finds itself starring in today’s story.

Utah YouTuber turns to Alibaba – and finds a lot of fun

YouTuber Dave Sparks runs the YouTube channel HeavyDSparks, where – amongst other things – he checks out some pretty wild vehicles.

His channel is dedicated to the showcase of almost anything with an engine in it.

From helicopters to monster trucks, there is nothing that the Utah YouTuber’s channel won’t cover.

And that could not be more true in the case of today’s story.

In his latest video, HeavyDSparks has bought himself a car.

But this is far from just any old car; this is an electric car bought from Alibaba.

It also happens to be the world’s cheapest new car.

Dave and his friends burst out in laughter the second they saw the car.

Amazingly, however, the Utah YouTuber and his friends all managed to squeeze into the car.

The guys took it for a spin through the local neighbourhood before heading back to their shop.

Despite the humorous nature of the world’s cheapest new car, the guys seemed to have a lot of fun.
