A Tesla Model 3 EV owner spent 111,600 Tesla credits to see what he could buy, pushing the app to its breaking point.

Tesla-focused YouTuber Jack Massey Welsh had amassed a massive number of credits and had just one day to spend them before they expired.

Welsh used the in-car app to spend all the credits, which pushed it to breaking point as he spent bundles of credits.

The question on his mind, as well as his viewers’, was just how much stuff he could get for that incredible number of credits.

What Welsh spent his Tesla credits on

In total, Welsh managed to bag 50 items for the 111,600 credits that he had in the bank.

The conversion is around $1 per 21.4 credits, so the YouTuber had up to $5,215 worth of spending.

Welsh spent the credits on a wide array of items while sitting in his Tesla Model 3 EV.

One of those was a wall connector, which cost him eight percent of his total credits.

The YouTuber was slightly limited in what he could buy.

That is because there isn’t a lot in the Tesla store that you can currently exchange those credits for.

The YouTuber also bought two more wall connectors, wheel cap kits, pet liners for the seats, and 9,000 free Supercharging miles.

He even bought a bunch of Tesla-branded clothes, which felt very random.

What did the YouTuber do with his purchases?

Incredibly, the app removed the wall connector listing, seemingly pushed to breaking point by Welsh’s spending.

A few weeks later, all of the goodies had made their way to his house.

Welsh had given away almost all of the clothes to a homeless shelter, which was a great gesture.

Many of the expensive add-ons he would gift to members of his family and possibly to viewers of his videos.

Not long after he exchanged his credits, Welsh had a message saying his referral limit had been reached.

That means he wouldn’t be able to earn any more rewards.

Customers also wouldn’t be able to use Welsh’s referral code to get money off at the store.

Tesla clearly didn’t like seeing all those credits spent in one go.The post This is everything Model 3 owner bought with 111,600 Tesla credits before the app reached breaking point appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
