Bringing one of the classics back to life, this $1.4m Eccentrica Lamborghini Diablo restomod is the pinnacle of an exposed carbon fibre and naturally aspirated V12 power duo.
For many gearheads, we grew up with the Diablo as our icon.
The ‘devil’ was a straight-cut era-defining supercar that was the focus of teenage lads’ posters throughout the 2000s.
But a quarter of a century later, a new Eccentrica Lamborghini Diablo restomod range is bringing the supercar back. And this exposed carbon Titano model is leading the way.

The Eccentrica Lamborghini Diablo range launches with a $1.4m exposed carbon flagship named ‘Titano’
Having seen so many beloved supercars pass on the torch over the decades, there’s a huge hole in our hearts where the likes of the Diablo used to reside.
Companies like Eccentrica have the same problem, and we’ve seen countless incredible automotive icons get incredible restomods and be reborn.
Much like this $1.2m 1967 Pontiac GTO, the Lamborghini Diablo has been given a new lease of life.
With 3,540 new components and ‘infinite emotions per gallon’, the manual transmission Diablo restomod is a true beauty to behold.
The flagship model in the range, the Titano, has stripped off to its carbon fiber underwear too, baring all of the clean-cut kinks that made the Diablo so loved.
The biggest difference comes as a new rear end, and it’s a job very well done.
“The Diablo was my dream car as a kid,” said Eccentrica Founder Emanuel Colombini.
“I remember it being shiny and red on the cover of Quattroruote. At the time, it was the supercar that broke all speed records!
“These memories and emotions came back when I saw it again about 10 years ago in a dealership, almost forgotten but still charming and gritty.”
The Titano is one of three in this range. Eccentrica also created the Rose Phoenix and Green Dragon versions of this beloved car, with flamboyant body paint true to its namesake.
A V12 throwback
Lamborghini ended its work with the V12 engine back in 2023. But it released the Invencible coupé and Auténtica roadster as a swansong for the beloved powertrain.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t see more V12 Lambos. That was the ethos for this trio of polished-up supercar restomods.
“I had the opportunity to test a Diablo GT, which I then added to my collection.
“That’s when I realized that a Diablo made usable with today’s mechanics and components could be a one-of-a-kind car with unparalleled driving dynamics,” Colombini added.
“I called it and still do, a 550hp go-kart. If you add its timeless design and a 5700cc naturally aspirated V12 engine to the mix, you know you’re looking at a masterpiece.”
The Eccentrica Lamborghini Diablo range is limited to 19 units, spread out between the Titano, Rose Phoenix, and Green Dragon.
With Lamborghini itself advancing with the Temerario, it’s as good a time as ever to be a supporter of the Italian brand. The post Exposed carbon fibre and naturally aspirated V12 come together for new Eccentrica Lamborghini Diablo appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
