He took drastic steps to protect his rare BMW M3 in a hurricane
The Sunshine State finds itself in the pathway of a lot of dramatic weather phenomena.
And while some don’t have much to lose if bad weather comes knocking, others have their most prized possessions parked on the street outside.
That was the case for Randy Jalil from Port St. Lucie in Florida.
With no garage space left, Randy Jalil didn’t know what to do with his beloved BMW E30 M3.
After a few minutes with his measuring tape, Jalil worked out he would be able to fit it inside his living room (just).
It’s more than just a possession
Jalil and his friend carefully drove the BMW M3 through the front door of Jalil’s house and parked it bang-smack in the middle of the living room.
The pictures of the BMW E30 M3 sitting behind the couch in Jalil’s living room went viral.
Luckily, the storm passed with minimal damage, and even though his car would’ve been okay outside, Jalil said he was glad he prepared for the worst.
In fact, he did it again during Hurricane Dorian in 2019.
