GTA might be delayed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t revel in real-life custom car mode with this new wild G70 from Hyundai’s luxury brand, Genesis.
The new G70 Track Day Special Concept comes from Hyundai’s Genesis, which is surprising considering you wouldn’t think the luxury brand could create a beast of a track-only car like this one.
According to the automaker, the G70 Track Day Special is inspired by the Genesis track taxi experience at Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife and the company’s commitment to high-performance driving.
The luxury brand is taking an interesting few steps into the world of track racing, and it looks as though its era in the fast lane is only just beginning with the G70 Track Day Special.

GTA might be delayed, so we’ll cling to Genesis and its wild G70
The horrifying announcement that GTA 6 was delayed has left people crying out for custom car mode in real life.
It seems like Hyundai’s luxury brand, Genesis, has been missing GTA 6, too. But instead of being sad, it’s created the G70 Track Day Special Concept, a truly wild blend of refined luxury and high-performance driving.
According to the luxury automaker, the G70 was ‘inspired by [the] Genesis track taxi experience at Germany’s Nürburgring, the concept reflects Genesis’ commitment to high-performance driving.’
The secrets of this beast on the track
The G70 Track Day Special Concept is built to have the low, sporty stance of the Genesis G70 Track Taxi Nordschleife and comes with hood air vents and front and rear tow cables.
It also has a striking rear wing to truly optimize the sports car’s aerodynamics, as well as 19-inch Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The G70 Track Day Special Concept has already made its debut and is setting off on a high-speed cross-Canada tour.
This uncompromising track beast changes a lot of people’s perceptions of Genesis as a track-only sports car brand, but if you want to change the conversation like this, the marque has done it – and it’s done it in style.
