A wild military Humvee from AM General in Louisiana that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before has just sold for $250,000 to a mystery buyer through our own SBX Cars auction site.
Last month, we at Supercar Blondie listed this incredible 1987 AM General Humvee for sale. It had become an incredible custom ride.
The modifications turned it into something very special, with a massive V8 engine under the hood, new air suspension, and extra-large tires.
This incredible ride has now been sold, with a mystery buyer paying a quarter of a million dollars for the modified military vehicle.

This is what made this Humvee so cool
The vehicle in question was a 1987 AM General Humvee that had just 1,700 miles on the clock at the time we listed it.
It came coated with Patriot Liner’s bedliner in blue, with a custom cabin.
The Humvee had been built with SEMA in mind, and it appeared at the famed auto show in 2023.
While it sounds cliche, this particular Humvee truly was a one-of-a-kind vehicle.
The creator had given it a massive 6.6-liter Duramax turbocharged diesel V8 that made 750HP.
This was thanks to its new compound turbos.
Plus, the former military vehicle had air suspension, giving it a 10-inch ride height.
The winning bidder paid $250,000 for the military Humvee
Our listing for the Humvee sold for $250,000 to a private buyer, whose identity has remained a mystery.
That person, though, is likely to have a lot of fun with the giant military SUV.
Not only can it ride 10 inches above the road, but it can also be fully slammed for a street vibe.
Inside, there are hand-crafted panels, brown leather upholstery, and an epic Kicker audio system.
Tinted windows and a California Gold slantback kit are the icing on the cake for this machine.
Our very own Alex Hirschi, AKA Supercar Blondie, described it on the listing herself.
She said that it is ‘a wild blend of military heritage and modern street-rod appeal indeed!’
It might be worth keeping an eye out in America in case you spot this military Humvee with its new owner!
