What Jeep Wrangler drivers are saying about the SUV

Much of the discussion around the SUV is taking place on Reddit, and it encompasses several generations.

Most of the comments are based on the JK model from 2007-2018, with some discussing the TJ from 1997-2006.

As it turns out, many owners have managed to get their car up to the magic 100,000-mile mark.

A quick look at the Jeep Wrangler SubReddit reveals that if they are maintained properly, 100,000 miles is easy for the SUV.

One user had done 170,000 miles with their 2013 JK model in 2024.

Other than changing brake pads, wheel speed sensors, and the oil cooler, they have had no major issues.

Another had done 190,000 miles when they posted, and other than a slight oil drip, it’s had zero problems.

The SUV appears very reliable at 100,000 miles

A fellow Reddit user said their 2018 model had done 111,000 miles by 2024.

That has had a new water pump and some warranty items during that time, but other than that, it has been great.

There are, however, as with many Jeep models, a few things to watch out for.

Steering and suspension components may also need replacing if the SUV has been driven heavily.

Some owners have had real issues, such as Tall-Poem-6808.

They had to rebuild most of the front end after 100,000 miles, and it drinks oil quickly and needs a new clutch.
