Engler Automotive is a tiny company with some seriously wild supercar ideas.
It is best known for building a 1,200-horsepower quad bike that can hit 250mph.
Now, they’ve revealed renderings of their next project: the Mosslr.
Inspired by the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss, it’s a roofless, $900,000 supercar that is every bit as crazy as it sounds.

The Mosslr’s design pays homage to the original SLR Stirling Moss, a rare, roofless roadster produced in 2009 as a tribute to the iconic British racing driver.
Engler’s Mosslr aims to follow that formula, but push it even further.
The renderings show a low, sculpted body with wide arches, thin LED highlights, a massive front grille, and side-exit exhausts.
A pair of flying buttresses rise up behind the seats, while the rear features a curved light bar, subtle aero elements, and a deep diffuser.
There’s no roof or windshield, just a small wind deflector ahead of the cabin, true to the original’s design.
While there are no interior images yet, Engler said it will be covered in high-end leather.
Given the company’s past builds, expect something flashy, minimal, and definitely unconventional.
Engler offers three powertrain configurations for the Mosslr, two V8s and a V12.
The V8 is available with either 740 horsepower or 986 horsepower, with a top speed of 200mph or 217mph respectively.
As for the V12, it produces 838 horsepower and it does 200+ mph.
In case you’re wondering, the V12 is actually less powerful than one of the V8s because it was designed to be a little bit more meaty, sort of like old-school engines used to be before everything was turbocharged and electrified.
All models are rear-wheel drive, and come up with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
There numbers put the Mosslr in hypercar territory, like the Porsche 918 Spyder belonging to Lebron James.
It’s still unclear whether it’s even close to being road-ready.
But we do know, just like the SLR Stirling Moss, it’ll be capped at 75 units.
The starting price is $800,000, and Engler is accepting refundable €20,000 ($22,800) deposits for prospective buyers.
The first Mosslr is expected to be completed within six to nine months, serving as both a prototype and a promotional vehicle.
Subsequently, only two to three units will be produced per month.
